Ending Addictive Thinking

Imagine a small white cigarette on a table in front of you. That little cigarette is completely harmless as long as it just lays there, right?
Cigarettes are like your negative thought addictions: Alone thoughts are harmless. It’s only once you light the thought up by believing it that it can have an impact.
However, unlike cigarettes, we can’t throw our thoughts away to remove the addictive substance.
The good news is once we create space between ourselves and the thought, we neurologically increase our ability to question the current thinking pattern and create a new supportive neural pathway map instead.
We are not our thoughts, feelings, actions, or beliefs. We can choose to change our thinking and create a new life. One that feels better and more in alignment with our true goals.
